 Brad Cole
Brad Cole is President of Cole Partners Asset Management, LLC and Cole Partners LLC, overseeing all investment, management, and strategic activities of the firm. Brad's professional career spans more than 20 years in the derivatives industry as a trader, portfolio manager and investor.
Brad founded Tellus Asset Management in 2002, building on his diverse experience in commodities and alternative asset management. Tellus Asset Management offers investors active asset management in the commodities sector, managing a natural resources fund of funds that was named "Best of Breed" by the Global Alternative Investment Management Association in November 2006.
Brad created Cole Partners, a third party marketer specializing in alternative investments. Prior to founding Cole Partners in 1998, Brad served as the Vice President and Director of Sales and Marketing for Sjo, Incorporated, a Chicago-based CTA.. Brad began his career at Goldman Sachs, where he was hired as part of their currency arbitrage group on the International Monetary Market (IMM). He applied this analytical foundation as Vice President at Dean Witter, where he managed the institutional currency futures and options desk.
Brad is a member of the Managed Futures Association (MFA), and the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA). Brad's research has appeared in a variety of industry publications and he is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and events. He is a member of the NASD and the NFA. Brad received a BA from the University of Illinois.

| Rian Akey
Rian Akey is the Vice President and COO of Cole Partners Asset Management and is responsible for overseeing the firm's research and operations. He is a principal of the organization and on the Investment Committee. Rian was hired in 1999 by an affiliate, Cole Partners, where he has guided the firm's review and due diligence of investment managers, industry research, and operations.
Rian's research on the relative merits of commodities alpha and beta has appeared in a variety of academic journals and books and has been presented at investment conferences around the world. His paper "Alpha, Beta, and Commodities: Can a Commodities Investment be Both a High Risk-Adjusted Return Source and a Portfolio Hedge?" appears as a chapter in the book Intelligent Commodity Investing, published in March 2007.
Prior to joining the Cole organization, Rian's experience includes tenure with Thomson Financial, a Boston, Massachusetts-based financial services firm, and with a Fidelity Investments subsidiary. Rian is a member of the NASD and the NFA. He received a BA cum laude from the University of Notre Dame.
